We've all probably heard the saying 'once a Catholic, always a Catholic.' When we happen to mention something connected to our own Catholic faith, it's amazing how many times someone then reveals to us 'I'm a Catholic ' often followed by 'but I don't go to Mass.'
Speaking about our faith - sharing that we go to Mass, offering to pray for someone's needs, putting the gospel into action - all of this creates opportunities to evangelise, not least among those 'resting Catholics' who might also be members of our families and friends.
We can evangelise by showing that special kind of faith-friendship which gently loves a person and hopes they might know for themselves how much they are loved by God.
